Asked for chicken salt, got no salt all. Disappointing amount if chips and overcooked, with no seasoning tasted bad! Potato scallops were half cooked and uneatable. Very small meal, bought 2 packs for $48. The fish was nice but extremely small piece. First time going there snd wont be going back
Fresh caught mackerel in a housemade crumb, dont let the dark colour of the crumb fool you this fish is perfectly cooked and taste so fresh & juicy, add in some seafood sticks, a scallop with the roe on as its meant to be. Finished the meal with pineapple and banna fritters sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and a chocolate dipping sauce. Service was A+ with the prices very reasonable and got our food quickly then sat down and enjoyed the outdoor eating area.
The chips were cold and tasted like they were cooked twice in old oil. The fish was over cooked and the fish portions were the size of fish fingers. They charged $80 for fish and chips for 4 people. And the wait was around an hour. We are very disappointed and will not be revisiting.
Finally! A fish and chip shop that actually knows where their fish comes from! There is descriptions on all items stating where it comes from, which trawler it come from and even names of the people who caught it. Wonderful! Shop was clean, staff were friendly, chips were crunchy. Thank guys :-)
Absolutely the best grilled fish I've ever eaten. So pleased to find a place that serves a thick juicy piece of fish.
Possibly the best crumbed barra that I have ever tasted! Their crumb is unique, being light, very tasty and not soaked in oil. The crumbed calamari is always a favourite with the kids. Great service and it's clear that the owners want the best quality product for their customers.
Fish portion I thought you’d get a whole piece of fish on each fish an salad sandwich’s x3 $ 17 dollars each the patato scallops are bigger than the fish we will not be back it’s a total ripoff it was once my go to for good food lost a local won’t be back
